Watford coach Quique Sanchez Flores expecting tough Palace test

Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores admits his team will have to be at their best if they are to extend their winning run to three games at the expense of Crystal Palace. Victories against Swansea and Newcastle have lifted Watford into mid-table but Flores is anticipating another testing afternoon against Alan Pardew's side at Vicarage Road. Watford have not won three successive top flight fixtures for 28 years.

Flores said: "We feel confident but we must respect Crystal Palace. They have achieved very good results away from home.Flores will be without the suspended Valon Behrami and injured Joel Ekstrand for the Sky Live Super Sunday match but he says summer signings Adlene Guedioura, Steven Berghuis and Nathan Ake are 'able to start if I choose'. The trio played for the U21 side against Huddersfield Town this week and Flores said: "All three of them need to play and must have a good feeling. They are in the process of learning the club, learning the Premier League and getting to know their teammates. "We are passionate about these players but it is important they have a good feeling here at Watford."Flores was keen to pay tribute to the backroom staff at the club who, he says, have made his coaching job much easier since his arrival this summer.

Wilson, who has not played in the league for the first team since the end of last season, was not part of the squad for Wednesday's 3-0 win over Ipswich in the Capital One Cup, but van Gaal said he has 'doubts' about whether it would be worthwhile loaning the player to a Championship club.For that reason he is set to wait for another two months before making a decision on where Wilson will spend the rest of the campaign. The United youth product has made 18 appearances for the club and scored four goals since his debut against Hull in May 2014, when he struck twice in a 3-1 victory.

Van Gaal said at his press conference before Saturday's match with Sunderland: "I think he needs to play but Manchester United's interests are always higher than individual interests, so I have doubts to let him go. "And maybe we have to wait until December that we know how it is with our club, (if) we are succeeding in the Champions League, the Capital One Cup, because maybe he shall receive minutes off me because I have to rotate. "You have seen what I have done against Ipswich Town. It can be done also in the other matches, so I have talked with him and I think that we wait until December."
